Ok so you probably have noticed that I chose to move to 1.0, in the possibly most unreasonnable way : starting from scratch.

I read a lot of suggestions from all of you, and I follow some of them, drop other ones, simply because it's impossible to do it all.

But let me reassure you : the idea behind TF! is still the same : keep it simple.
So the basic setup is as simple as it is today : no subtasks, no dependancy. Just a couple of more features, such as a way to search and filter tasks easily.
And the main change is that it heavily uses tags, i.e. keywords assigned to tasks.
Also a calendar view to quickly see how busy we are and as a simple way to organize our time.

With plugins it will be easy to add features such as file sharing, time tracking, email alerts, recurrent tasks, subtasks and whatever developers can think of.

For the moment, I'm just sending a few posts on twitter.com to let you know what I'm doing, but I will soon start a more serious blog with more details. Also I will invite some of you (mostly the ones posting a lot to this forum) to a section of this forum with complete specifications details.

Personally I'd love to see Sub Tasks Cheesy .. dependancy of one task on another task (some might call it milestones) ..
@Stan - Any chance you could share your vision of 1.0 and the features that you'd like to implement ?

I did a bit of customization and changed the 'Context' column into a Milestone column. So now it gives me a drop down with options like:

"Milestone 1"
"Milestone 2"
...

And I can sort on this column. I didn't end up needing to flag tasks as 'Home', 'Work' etc b/c my projects already differentiate between contexts. Ie- I have a project for all my personal tasks.
